Pre-Installed Q-AD Conversion System Digitize, Compute Area, and Measure Lengths - All With a Single Unit!

1. Employs the rectangular (cartesian) coordinates method.
2. The employment of a large liquid-crystal display (16 characters x 4 lines) enables constant display of trace point coordinates, with simultaneous display of measurement values (area and measured-length values).
3. The use of a Q-AD conversion system enables highly precise read-ins of coordinate values. With conventional digitizers, when performing continuous tracing, coordinates can only be read in at fixed time intervals, resulting in changed data intervals according to tracing speed. With Q-AD conversion, data is read in at fixed-length intervals, thereby resulting in uniform coordinate data for fixed intervals regardless of tracing speed.
4. The unitfs infrared optical communications system enables communication of data with an optional printer or RS232C interface.

The KP-1000 contains numerous special functions, such as those listed below, for plane coordinate measurements.

1. Simultaneous measurements of graphic shapes, area, and circumference.
